The jack plug adapters can connect the LED strip to a driver for your LED display lights.  The jack plugs come in male and female connectors.  The female jack socket receives and holds the male connector and is often found off the driver.  The male connector can be found off the LED cable.

They are used in many lighting solutions with our range of Wires and LED Extension Cables.  For a female connector simply connect your 12v or 24v output tails from your LED driver to the + and – terminals on the terminal block then plug the jack socket into the male jack plug fitted to most of our LED 5m tape rolls.

They have an IP rating of IP20 which can be used in a dry environment when there is no exposure to moisture.  This does not give a splashproof connection however it is ideal for a quick and easy connection to our tapes and module products enabling a plug and play solution

The Male or Female DC Screw Terminal Adapters are available in 2.1 mm or 2.5 mm options. They are perfect for plug and play low voltage lighting power connections.

LED Drivers or LED Power

Low Voltage LED strip lights must be supplied with the correct voltage by an LED power supply Typically 12 / 24V. It is important to specify a power supply with a suitable voltage and wattage for the LED tape you are using.

Colour changing and dimming will require compatible control products to adjust the light output of the LED strip. This can be done using many different control systems, each suited to different types of projects.
